Hi, I’m Sofia. For over a decade, I’ve been in the engine room with people delivering purposeful projects worldwide. I cut my teeth in non-profit — large-scale public health programmes, national youth initiatives and corporate and talent partnerships.
I started Asterism Projects in 2020. With a lifelong fascination with out-of-the-ordinary people, I set out to offer a perspective on purpose that’s both methodical and deeply human — imaginative, stylish, honest and gutsy.
Originally from Canada, I studied Economics and Politics at Trinity College Dublin. A Londoner since 2012, I now split my time between London and Berlin with my partner and our famously eccentric dog, Basil.
I like to think I’m picking up where my great-grandfather, Alberto, left off. In 1917, he packed up and left Greece for Mexico City, stepping into a post-revolution country home to a surreal cast of artists, revolutionaries and industrialists. He started out selling sewing machines and magazines. Then came the bookshop and the gallery.
But his real business was people. He knew how to connect the right ones, solve problems, and spot opportunities—first for the people who walked through his door and then for many people who shaped the times. Open but principled, unassuming yet sharp, he helped people do things that mattered.
